1. Data Controller and Data Processor Information

The data controller of personal data is Winesaver Ltd., a limited liability company registered at II. Požarinje 15, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia (hereinafter referred to as “Winesaver” or “Seller”), registered with the Commercial Court in Zagreb under the registration number (MBS): 384033 and with the personal identification number (OIB): 69743244999.

Winesaver Ltd. carefully protects users’ personal data, meaning that users’ personal data will not be misused in any way. 2. Data Protection Officer (DPO)

In accordance with legal and regulatory requirements, Winesaver Ltd. has appointed a Data Protection Officer who can be contacted for any inquiries related to the processing of personal data or the exercise of rights regarding personal data protection. Our data protection officer will review all your inquiries and strive to respond within 30 days, provided that your request is legally justified. The response time depends on the nature of your inquiry and the quantity and nature of any other potential inquiries.

3. Scope of Application

This policy pertains to individuals and legal entities whose personal data is collected by Winesaver Ltd. on any legal basis.

Personal data refers to information related to an individual, such as their name, surname, age, address, email address, and similar information. Winesaver Ltd. collects personal data from users only when users provide consent, such as during registration on the website or through various forms on the website. The data is collected and processed in compliance with the laws of the Republic of Croatia, including the Personal Data Protection Act, the Electronic Commerce Act, and other regulations related to the collection and protection of personal data.

HOPE CLIP collects the necessary data for processing online card payments when purchasing on the webshop using the CorvusPay payment form. Payment data is transmitted encrypted from your web browser to the bank that issued your card. Our store never comes into contact with complete data about your payment card. Additionally, even CorvusPay system employees cannot access the data. An isolated core autonomously transmits and manages sensitive data, keeping them completely secure.

Winesaver Ltd. commits to protecting customer personal data by collecting only necessary basic information required to fulfill our obligations. We inform customers about the way collected data is used and regularly provide customers with the choice to control the use of their data, including the option to remove their name from marketing campaign lists. All customer data is strictly protected and accessible only to employees who need the information for their tasks. All Winesaver Ltd. employees are responsible for respecting privacy protection principles.

4. Method of Collecting Personal Data

Personal data is processed in accordance with the highest standards of the European Union and the applicable regulations of the Republic of Croatia.

5. Period of Retaining Personal Data

Winesaver Ltd. stores collected personal data until withdrawal of consent for data storage by the user. Data collected for processing based on legal grounds are retained according to time limitations specified by relevant laws (such as the Accounting Act and others).

Every user, as well as the individuals whose personal data is processed, are authorized to file a complaint regarding the processing of their personal data by Winesaver Ltd. (the Data Controller) to the supervisory authority, the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency.

8. Cookies and Internet Activity Tracking

A cookie is information that is stored on a user’s computer by the website the user visits (hereinafter referred to as “cookie/s”). In other words, cookies are invisible documents temporarily stored on your hard drive that allow the seller to recognize your computer when you visit the website again.

When you access the website in general, non-personal data (number of visits, average time spent on the website, pages visited) are automatically recorded (not as part of login) using a third-party service called Google Analytics.
