Tools for Operators

Depletion Calculator – If you’re pouring wine ounce-by-ounce (for tastings, flights, or sampling), this tool shows how Repour depletes with multiple openings/closings of the same bottle: Depletion Calculator

Tip: Download the calculator for analysis. If you’re not entering a number in Column B, leave “enter value” as is.

The Science

There’s a sealed packet inside each stopper that contains a proprietary iron-based material. As it reacts with oxygen, it creates a vacuum inside the bottle — preserving freshness without adding anything to the wine. When removing Repour, you’ll often hear a soft hiss as the vacuum breaks, and oxygen rushes back in. For many operators, that sound is the moment the concept “clicks”.

Frequently-Asked Questions

  • Is Repour recyclable? Yes. It’s made of 100% recyclable materials.
  • Can I store a “Repour-ed” bottle on its side? No. Repour needs to stay upright to allow air to enter the stopper.
  • What’s inside the Stopper? A sealed package of oxygen-absorbing material. No liquid passes in or out. Nothing ever enters the wine.
  • Does Repour work on sparkling wine? No. The pressure inside the bottle can cause Repour to fly off the top of the bottle.
